JAKARTA – PT Bank Bisnis Internasional Tbk (BBSI) would launch its second rights issue, offering 434,782,609 shares or 14.37% of its current issued capital. By the end of November 2020, Bank Bisnis also had had its rights issue, collecting IDR 43.82 billion of fresh funds.
In the information disclosure, quoted on Wednesday (21/7), this corporate action would occur by the end of this year after gaining permission from the stockholders during the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting on August 27, 2021. The proceeds from the rights issue would raise BBSI’s core capital to IDR 2 trillion by the end of 2021.
The ownership portion would be diluted by 12.56% should the stockholders refuse to participate in this corporate action. As of June 2021, BBSI’s shares amount to 3,026,529,504 units. PT Sun Antarnusa owns 14.94%, PT Sun Land Investama 19.76%, Sundjono Suriadi 25%, PT Financial Teknologi 24%, and the public 16.3%.
As of March 2021, BBSI gathers third-party funds of IDR 404.96 billion, sliding off from IDR 411.59 billion in December 2020. The disbursed credit reaches IDR 829.87 billion, higher than IDR 803.78 billion in December 2020. (LK/ZH)
