JAKARTA. PT Surya Toto Indonesia Tbk (TOTO), the sanitary devices manufacturer under Toto Ltd in Japan, has recently received its dividend payment from one of its associates, PT Surya Graha Pertiwi (SGP) of IDR 20 billion.
The dividend comes from SGP’s net profit in 2020, as disclosed by Setia Budi Purwadi, Director of TOTO. “SGP is an associate company, whose shares are acquired by our company of 350 thousand units, equal to 50% ownership,” Purwadi reveals in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange.
According to idnfinancials.com data, SGP is an associate of TOTO. It is headquartered in Jakarta and has been operating since October 5, 2011. Surya Graha Pertiwi is established by TOTO and PT Surya Pertiwi Tbk (SPTO), with a 50:50 ownership portion.
The total investment channelled by TOTO to SGP until March 31, 2021, reached IDR 377.82 billion. As an additional note, SGP runs in the office construction and management sector.
TOTO profit in Q1 2021 amounts to IDR 465 billion. It depletes by 3.7% year-on-year (yoy). Meanwhile, its profit takes a massive downturn by 78.8% yoy to IDR 12.26 billion. (KR/ZH)
