JAKARTA. The Ministry of Investment notices the investment realisation from January to June 2021 has reached IDR 442.8 trillion. It is 49.2% of this year’s target of IDR 900 trillion. This number is 10% higher than the same period last year.
The Minister of Investment, Bahlil Lahadalia, confirms that this number grows 10% from last year. “This IDR 442.8 trillion, once turned into a percentage out of IDR 900 trillion, has reached 49.2% of the target for 2021,” Lahadalia states earlier today (27/7).
Lahadalia specified that out of the realisation, the domestic investment contributes IDR 214.3 trillion, increasing 3.5% year-on-year (yoy). Meanwhile, the foreign investment scores even higher, adding IDR 228.5 trillion or 16.8% higher than the same period last year.
Lahadalia also claims that the effort to boost the investment in Q3 2021 would be a tight fit due to the Community Activities Restriction Enforcement following the increased COVID-19 cases with the delta variant. He prays that the daily cases would decline and the daily activities could be proceeded as usual. (AM/ZH)
