JAKARTA. PT Multi Bintang Indonesia Tbk (MLBI) triumphs with a 42.08% surge in revenue, surpassing IDR 1 trillion in H1 2021. In the same period last year, MLBI scored IDR 799.70 billion. As a result, its net profit skyrockets by 346.09%.
Based on the financial report of H1 2021, the revenue of this alcoholic beverages manufacturer mostly comes from alcoholic beverages, increasing 52.47% to IDR 977.97 billion. Meanwhile, its non-alcoholic beverages add a constant cash flow of IDR 158.22 billion. Coinciding with the impressive revenue growth, MLBI also sees a sharp elevation in its net profit. It exponentially jumps by 346.09% to IDR 281.62 billion from IDR 63.13 billion in the same period last year.
Regarding its balance, MLBI’s total assets slightly slide off 1.33% to IDR 2.86 trillion, while its equity freefalls by 50.17% to IDR 714.16 billion. Furthermore, its liability also multiplies by 46.15% to IDR 2.15 trillion.
Sandra Asher Pattenden, Director of Multi Bintang, explains in the information disclosure today (28/7) that the surge in the company’s liability is due to the company’s decision to acquire short-term credit from the bank this year. It amounts to IDR 550 billion.
