Until July 28, IPO values of 26 companies surge almost 100%

JAKARTA. Until July 28, 2021, PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) (lit. Indonesia Stock Exchange/IDX) has noticed that 26 companies, freshly listed this year, whose IPO values clocking up to IDR 7.66 trillion in total, have their values skyrocketed by 99.48%. There are also 25 companies on the waiting list, queuing for their initial public offerings.

I Gede Nyoman Yetna, Director of Corporate Appraisal of IDX, confirms that until today (28/7), there are 25 companies in the IPO pipeline in the exchange. They comprise 4 companies with small scale assets up to IDR 50 billion, 7 companies with medium scale assets from IDR 50 to 250 billion, and 14 companies with big scale assets above IDR 350 billion.

Yetna further specifies 6 of the companies are within the consumer cyclicals sector, 5 companies are within the industrial sector, 3 companies within the consumer non-cyclical sector. There are also 2 companies in the technology, transportation and logistics, health, energy, and financial sectors each. The remaining one company operates in the basic materials sector. (AM/ZH)
