JAKARTA. PT MNC Studios International Tbk (MSIN) announces its plan to distribute the cash dividend amounting to IDR 22.89 billion or IDR 2 per share, taken out of its net profit in 2020.
Ahmad Alhafiz, Corporate Secretary of MSIN, claims that the said decision had been approved by the stockholders during the annual meeting on July 28, 2021. The dividend to be given out equals 13.7% of the net profit in the fiscal year 2020.
The cum dividend date in the regular and negotiation market had been scheduled to August 5, 2021, followed by the cash market on August 9, 2021. The recording date is set to August 9, 2021, while the payment would be disbursed on August 27, 2021.
According to idnfinancials.com data, MSIN scored IDR 157.04 billion in the fiscal year 2020. By the end of last year, this company, which belongs to the politician Hary Tanoesoedibjo, is reported to have IDR 522.9 billion as its retained earnings and total equity of IDR 1.55 trillion.
As of March 31, 2021, 71.68% of MSIN’s shares are under PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN). Then, another 13.11% belongs to MNC International Middle East Limited, 14.17% is shared among public investors, while the small remaining portion goes to the Tanoesoedibjos. (KR/ZH)
