JAKARTA. PT Sumber Global Energy Tbk (SGER) would pay out its stock dividends of IDR 304 each, rounding up to IDR 104.58 billion in total. It would be taken out of its net profit in the fiscal year 2020.
Welly Thomas, President Director of SGER, explains that this plan aligns with the decision of the Annual General Shareholder Meeting held a couple of days earlier. In the said meeting, the shareholders agreed upon the total distributed shares, which amount to 344 million units.
Based on idnfinancials.com data, SGER reported a net profit of IDR 114.46 billion in December 2020. Meanwhile, its total equity reached IDR 235.69 billion.
Corporate Secretary of SGER, Michael Harold H, schedules the cum dividend in the regular and negotiation market to August 25, 2021, and August 27, 2021, for the cash market. The recording date is set to August 27, 2021, while the payment would be disbursed on September 3, 2021.
In the annual meeting, the shareholders also called for the cash dividend distribution of IDR 4 per share or IDR 8.26 billion in total. Then, IDR 1 billion of the entire net profit would be stored as the reserved funds, while another IDR 18.1 billion goes to the retained earnings. (KR/ZH)
