JAKARTA – PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) hands over instalments for LRT Jabodetabek Phase I of IDR 520.5 billion, tax included, to PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) as the constructor of the said infrastructure project.

Farid Budiyanto, Corporate Secretary of Adhi Karya, confirms the said payment as the reimbursement for the LRT project throughout July-September 2020. “It would boost the company’s liquidity and cash flow while assisting the completion of the first phase of LRT construction,” he explains further in the information disclosure, quoted today (18/8).

According to Budiyanto, until today, ADHI had obtained the total remuneration for the project of IDR 13.7 trillion from the government. For the record, the LRT project had been 86.57% completed in general. It includes the LRT Cawang-Cibubur line, which had progressed 93.88%, Cawang-Kuningan-Dukuh Atas line 86.87%, Cawang-East Bekasi 91.58%, and the Depot in East Bekasi 51.97%.

Adhi aims to operate this infrastructure by mid-2022. The LRT is envisioned to facilitate the mobility of those who work and live in Jabodebek. Adhi Commuter Properti (ACP), ADHI’s subsidiary, is currently vigorously driven to establish estates integrated with LRT stations in Jabodebek. (LK/ZH)
