JAKARTA. PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM) is set to distribute the cash dividend of IDR 11 per share or IDR 103 billion in total. It would be taken out of its retained earnings off the fiscal year 2020.
This plan follows the result of the Annual General Shareholders Meeting held last week. In the said meeting, the shareholders also agreed to allocate 7.79% of the total retained earnings to the cash dividend.
According to idnfinancials.com, FILM collected the retained earnings of IDR 1.32 trillion by the end of December 2020. In the annual meeting, the shareholders also call for an IDR 5 billion allocation to the reserved funds.
For the record, FILM suffered from a loss of IDR 57 billion in 2020. This deficit results from the company’s sales that went down significantly by 51% year-on-year (yoy) to IDR 122.37 billion.
The management had set the cum dividend date in the regular and negotiation market to August 27, 2021. The cash market’s date follows on August 31, 2021. In the end, the dividend disbursement would take place on September 22, 2021. (KR/ZH)
