Batavia Prosperindo is certain of reaching its target for this year

JAKARTA. By the end of July, PT Batavia Prosperindo Finance Tbk (BPFI) has managed to record a profit of IDR 17 billion, hitting the halfway mark of this year’s target of IDR 31.3 billion.

Markus Dinarto Pranoto, President Director of BPFI, expresses his optimism in attaining the profit target set by the company. The other targets include the credit channelling of IDR 900 billion or distributing the financing for 6,897 units of vehicles.

BPFI’s confidence is based on several strategies that have been prepared to achieve the said targets for the year. The strategies include managing the portofolios of users that got affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and carefully disbursing loans to them. Furthermore, it would enhance the quality of the operation through improving customers’ services, upgrading the process of business affairs, and applying supporting information technologies.

Pranoto reveals that Sumatra has currently become the second biggest contributor to its performance after Java. BPFI now owns 75 branch offices, dispersed in 13 different regions. “5 offices are located in Java-Bali, 4 offices in Sumatra, 2 offices in Kalimantan, and the last 2 in Sulawesi. (AM/ZH)
