Shoalter places IDR 72 billion in kalcare.com

JAKARTA – Shoalter Technology International Limited (Shoalter) invests IDR 72 billion in PT Karya Hasta Dinamika (KHD), a subsidiary of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF). This equity participation aims to support the plan of developing a platform in the healthcare field worth a total investment of IDR 306 billion.

Lukito Kurniawan Gozali, Corporate Secretary of Kalbe Farma, claims that this capital participation aims to strengthen the e-health digital business. “Total investment to be channelled by Shoalter and our company would amount to IDR 72 billion and IDR 234 billion, respectively,” he confirms in the information disclosure, quoted Wednesday (25/8).

KHD is a subsidiary of KLBF with 100% ownership. It manages kalcare.com, an e-commerce platform, web portal, and delivery services. The record in June 2021 reveals that its assets total IDR 18.90 billion. On the other hand, Shoalter is a subordinate company of Hong Kong Technology Venture Company Limited (HTVCL) headquartered in Hong Kong. (LK/ZH)
