JAKARTA – PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) reports an increment in sales by 22% to IDR 28.20 trillion in the first half of 2021. In the same period last year, ICBP only scored IDR 23.05 trillion. President Director of Indofood, Anthoni Salim, reveals this gain in a press release, quoted Wednesday (25/8).
“We notice a positive operational performance despite the unsteady economic recovery rate due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” Salim confirms.
According to Salim, this gain is subsequently followed by the company’s profit growth from IDR 4.68 trillion to IDR 6.36 trillion, while its profit margin climbs from 20.3% to 22.6%. However, the current year profit attributable to the parent company slides off 5% to IDR 3.22 trillion from IDR 3.38 trillion.
“The company’s core profit shifts to IDR 3.95 trillion from IDR 3.16 trillion, excluding the non-recurring accounts and foreign exchange difference yet to be realised,” Salim concludes. (LK/ZH)
