JAKARTA. The self-care products sales have significantly boosted the current year profit of PT Mustika Ratu Tbk (MRAT) by 55.29% to IDR 2.25 billion in the first half of 2021.
Based on the published financial report of H1 2021, this cosmetic and herbal products manufacturer has scored IDR 176.32 billion in sales. It increases 23.22% from the sales reported in the same period last year of IDR 143.08 billion.
The self-care products sales have brought in IDR 132.31 billion, or 75.03% of the total net sales in the first half of 2021. Then, the healthcare products sales follow with IDR 43.40 billion, higher than cosmetic products sales of IDR 25.18 billion. Lastly, the traditional medicine and herbal drinks sales contribute IDR 19.902 billion.
However, the company still has to deal with costs of sales of IDR 80.44 billion and operational expenses of IDR 53.55 billion. Thus, it leaves the company with the current year profit of IDR 2.25 billion, impressively proliferating by 55.29%. (AM/ZH)
