Inter Jaya Corpora sells 4.75% of its shares in COCO for IDR 10 billion

JAKARTA – PT Inter Jaya Corpora (IJC) divests 4.75% of its portion in PT Wahana Interfood Nusantara Tbk (COCO), a cocoa powder manufacturer, for IDR 10 billion. ICJ is one of COCO’s shareholders with a portion above 5% other than PT Central Texindo and Lusiana.

Reinald Siswanto, President Director of Inter Jaya Corpora, announces that his company had transferred 31,847,134 shares of IDR 314 each in a transaction that took place yesterday (24/8). “Prior to this transaction, IJC’s placed shares amount to 179,861,535 units or 31.17%. Accordingly, it diminishes to 148,014,401 shares of 26.42%,” he confirms.

IJC had performed a similar action on August 20, 2021. It sold 24,305,556 shares for IDR 7 billion. With that much of a divestment, its portion depleted from 198,757,255 shares (35.48%) to 174,451,755 units (31.14%).

However, before its stock transfer on August 24, 2021, IJC once purchased 5,409,836 shares for IDR 366 each, totalling IDR 1.97 billion. With this investment, IJC gained back its portion in COCO, from 3.14% to 31.17%. (LK/ZH)
