UNIC places IDR 12 billion in its subsidiary

JAKARTA. PT Unggul Indah Cahaya Tbk (UNIC) recently injects fresh funds of IDR 12 billion to one of its subsidiaries, PT Unggul Indah Investama (UII), to maintain its ownership percentage to 99.99%.

The additional fresh funds are granted following the decision of UNIC’s Board of Commissioners made a couple of days earlier. “The entire capital raising fund would then be managed by UII to solidify the capital in PT Wiranusa Grahatama,” the board further elaborates in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange today (26/8).

Prior to this, UNIC owned 238,500 units of UII’s shares. By acquiring 12 thousand newly issued shares by UII, UNIC’s portion is boosted to 250,499 shares. One remaining unit goes to PT Aspirasi Luhur.

In today’s trading, UNIC’s stock price is closed with a 1.99% depletion, dropping 175 points to IDR 8,600 per share. Previously, UNIC’s stock price was at IDR 8,775 per share during today’s opening of the trading. (KR/ZH)
