Cardig Aero Services restructures its debt to HSBC

JAKARTA – PT Cardig Aero Services Tbk (CASS) restructures its debt of up to IDR 90 billion to PT Hongkong Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) Indonesia. In addition, the company puts PT Jasa Angkasa Semesta Tbk (JAS) as the corporate guarantee.

Widinawati D Adhiningrat, Director of Cardig Aero Services, announces that JAS would grant a corporate guarantee, ensuring the payment of loans of IDR 90 billion to HSBC. This guarantee would be effective if the company failed to pay its obligation towards HSBC Indonesia once the maturity date falls after restructuring.

JAS is a subsidiary of CASS, which controls 50.10% of the issued and paid-up shares, totaling IDR 51.83 billion. SATS Ltd owns another 49.79%, while the Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) takes another 0.11%. Its authorised capital amounts to IDR 80 billion, while stock in portfolio contains IDR 28.41 billion.

On the other hand, CASS’s authorised capital is reported to reach IDR 750 billion. Its issued and paid-up capital equals IDR 208.69 billion, while the stock in portfolio is worth IDR 541.30 billion. SATS Investment Pte Ltd owns 21.65%, Cemerlang Pte Ltd holds another 20%, PT Cardig Asset Manajemen 23.58%, PT Dinamika Raya Swarna 17.57%, and the public 17.20%. (LK)
