JAKARTA - As an effort to disseminate information about the Listed Company to investors, especially in the midst of the current COVID-19 pandemic, Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) together with PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (KPEI), and PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI), and supported by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), held a Public Expose LIVE 2021 event which was part of the 44th Anniversary of the Reactivation of the Indonesian Capital Market.
Public Expose LIVE 2021 will be held for 5 days, from September 6 – 10, 2021. Featuring 50 Listed Companies, this event will be broadcasted live via the Zoom platform and the recordings can be watched on the IDX's official YouTube channel, the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The target audience for the Public Expose LIVE 2021 event are Investors, Securities Company Analysts, local and foreign Investment Managers, Pension Fund Analysts, representatives from Insurance Companies, Members of the Indonesian Securities Analyst Association, and Journalists. IDX Development Director Hasan Fawzi is optimistic that the Public Expose LIVE 2021 event will be attended by many participants. This optimism is not without reason, considering that at the Public Expose LIVE 2020, there were 41,361 participants, consisting of 2,662 journalists online participants and 38,699 online participants from all regions in Indonesia, as well as from other countries such as the United States, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Japan, South Korea, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand and the Philippines.
"Public Expose LIVE 2021 is expected to assist investors in determining their investment steps with careful consideration, because they have understood the condition of the shares to be owned," Hasan said, Monday (6/9).
Since 2019, the implementation of the LIVE Public Expose has adopted online and real time meeting technology, before finally starting in 2020 and holding it fully virtual. (LM)
