Bank Maspion to pay cash dividends of IDR 7.5 per share

JAKARTA. PT Bank Maspion Indonesia Tbk (BMAS) arranges its cash dividend distribution of IDR 7.5 per share or IDR 33.33 billion in total. It would be taken out of its net profit gained in 2020.

Iwan Djayawasita, Corporate Secretary of Bank Maspion, claims that this plan had been discussed during the Annual General Shareholders Meeting held in mid-August 2021. In the said event, the shareholders agreed to allocate the entire net profit raised in 2020 as the cash dividend.

The cum dividend date in the regular and negotiation market was set to September 8, 2021, and September 10, 2021, for the cash market. Lastly, the disbursement would follow on October 1, 2021.

According to idnfinancials.com, by December 2020, BMAS holds unrestricted retained earnings of IDR 33.66 billion. On the other hand, its equity totals IDR 1.28 trillion.

During the closing bell yesterday, BMAS’s price strengthened 3.85% or 50 points to IDR 1,350 per share. As of June 2021, PT Alim Investindo still controls 62.01% of BMAS’s shares, while public investors claim another 5.56%. (KR/ZH)
