JAKARTA. The management of PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA) sees the government’s incentive policy regarding the Value Added Tax Borne by the Government (PPN DTP) as effective in driving the sales upward.
Tulus Santoso, Director of CTRA, claims that many property corporations are reaping benefits in increased sales from the said tax stimulus. He further wishes that the PPN DTP incentive programme could be extended as it generates positive outcomes in the national economy. For the record, the said stimuli program is scheduled to end by December 2021.
“The house sales, which aim to secure the PPN DTP incentive, once extended might bring a more positive impact on the economy in general. We are sincerely hoping that it could be continued.” Santoso further adds through a public expose last week (10/9).
The PPN DTP relief is granted 100% to houses or units with the highest selling price of IDR 2 billion. Then, 50% relief is given to houses or units worth IDR 2 to 5 billion. (AM/ZH)
