Mitra Keluarga to expend IDR 200 billion for buyback

15 September 2021 08:12

JAKARTA – PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk (MIKA), the managing company of Mitra Keluarga Hospital, allocates IDR 200 billion to repurchase 80 million shares by the end of this year. Director of Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat, Joyce V Handajani, announces this arrangement in the information disclosure, quoted today (15/9).

“The fund source for this buyback is planned to be taken out of the company’s internal cash, thus not requiring any financing and not causing a decrease in our revenue significantly,” Handjani further reveals.

It is mentioned that the buyback price had been set to a maximum of IDR 2,500 per share. The buyback would be conducted through transactions in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). “The buyback is intended to stabilise the price amidst the fluctuating market condition and provide flexibility for the company to manage its long-term capital,” Handajani concludes.
