21 September 2021 06:29

JAKARTA – PT Protelindo, a subsidiary of PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR), receives a loan capped at IDR 17 trillion in total from nine domestic and international banks. This facility would also be channelled out to PT Iforte Solusi Infotek (Iforte), a subsidiary of PT Protelindo.

Irfan Ghazali, Corporate Secretary of PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR), claims that the loan would be used to cover general needs, including funding a potential acquisition by Protelindo. “Protelindo’s debts would surely increase, but it is within a normal amount and would not induce any negative impacts on TOWR and Protelindo’s financial conditions,” he reassures, as quoted in the information disclosure Tuesday (21/9).

The banks involved in providing this facility are BTPN, lending IDR 2 trillion, CIMB with IDR 1 trillion, HSBC IDR 1 trillion, Bank Mandiri IDR 2 trillion, Bank Mizuho IDR 2 trillion, BNI IDR 3 trillion, and MUFG IDR 3 trillion. Additionally, the credit facility from Maybank and Bank Danamon, which initially amounted to IDR 500 billion and IDR 1 trillion, double to IDR 1 trillion and IDR 2 trillion. (LK/ZH)
