JAKARTA. PT Mora Telematika Indonesia (Moratelindo), a subsidiary of PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN), would take over 65% of PT Indo Pratama Teleglobal’s (IPT) shares initially belonged to PT Telekomunikasi Nusantara Sejahtera (TNS) for IDR 18.21 billion.

Henry Rizard Rumopa, Corporate Secretary of Moratelindo, confirmed that the circular resolution, as the replacement of the General Shareholders Meeting, was signed on September 23, 2021.

Moratelindo had purchased most of the shares, amounting to 145,730 units, of PT Indo Pratama Teleglobal previously claimed by TNS in IPT, Rumopa once again explained in the information disclosure yesterday (27/9).

Additionally, Moratelindo had also managed and received rights reassignment over advance deposits for stock subscriptions made by TNS to IPT of IDR 39.3 billion. This corporate action aims to provide benefits to the company and the company’s greater good in general.

The company reassured that the said transaction had secured approval from all creditors of the company as to how the credit/financing agreements had always demanded. (AM/ZH)
