ANTM sales and revenue surge by 87% in H1 2021

JAKARTA – PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) reported its sales reaching IDR 17.28 trillion by the end of H1 2021. It proliferated 87% from the gain recorded in the same period last year of IDR 9.24 trillion. It was also followed by the profit that amounted to IDR 1.16 trillion, fully revived from an IDR 159.40 billion loss last year.

Yulan Kustian, Corporate Secretary of Aneka Tambang, revealed that the most extensive contributor is gold sales, bringing IDR 11.87 trillion. Ferronickel sales also generated IDR 2.59 trillion, while nickel ores added IDR 2.04 trillion. Lastly, bauxite and alumina sales contributed IDR 613.68 billion. “The gold sales in H1 2021 amounted to 13,342 kg, soaring by 69% from the sales in H1 2020,” he further disclosed in the press release earlier today (28/9).

Additionally, nickel sales amounted to 12.068 tons of nickel in ferronickel (TNi). Then, bauxite sales reached 587 wet metric tons (mwt), while the alumina sales equalled 65,700 tons. In terms of the market, the domestic market dominated the contribution, covering IDR 13.68 trillion or 79% of ANTM’s total sales.

The company also recorded its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) of IDR 2.49 trillion in H1 2021. Its gross profit doubled to IDR 3.17 trillion from IDR 1.31 trillion in H1 2020, while its operating profit skyrocketed impressively by 442%, from IDR 281.65 billion to IDR 1.31 trillion. (LK/ZH)
