JAKARTA. The Budget Committee of the House of Representatives of Indonesia (DPR RI) agreed that the 2022 State Budget would amount to IDR 2,714.16 trillion. It is higher than the initial 2022 State Budget Plan of IDR 2,708.68 trillion.

This budget would be allocated to central government expenditure of IDR 1,943.74 trillion and regional transfer and village funds (TKDD) of IDR 770.41 trillion. The central government expenditure allocation increases from the submitted plan of IDR 1,938.27 trillion.

This budget consists of expenditures of ministries and institutions of IDR 945.75 trillion. It would cover the spending made in the healthcare, social protection, education, and infrastructure sector. (AM/ZH)
