JAKARTA. PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (AUTO), a subsidiary of PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) that manages the vehicle spare part business, arranges an interim dividend distribution of IDR 11 per share or IDR 53.02 billion in total.
Wanny Wijaya, Corporate Secretary of AUTO, claimed that this dividend distribution plan is a decision finalised by the boards of directors in late September 2021. “It had been approved by the boards of commissioners on September 30, 2021,” Wijaya continued in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange earlier today (1/10).
The management had set the cum dividend date in the regular and negotiation market to October 11, 2021, followed by the cash market on October 12, 2021. The interim dividend would be channelled out to the shareholders officially entering the list by October 13, 2021, at 4 PM WIB. Then, the payment itself would be disbursed on October 22, 2021.
For the record, AUTO reported a net profit of IDR 276.06 billion in the first half of 2021. Additionally, it kept unrestricted retained earnings of IDR 6.75 trillion by the end of June 2021.
AUTO’s shares controlled by ASII as of June 30, 2021, amount to 80%. Meanwhile, the remaining 20% is claimed by public investors, each owning less than 5%. (KR/ZH)
