Ascend Bangun Persada scored IDR 45.50 billion from selling its shares

JAKARTA – PT Ascend Bangun Persada (ABP) collected fresh funds of IDR 45.50 billion after divesting 4.93% of its shares in PT Trans Power Marine Tbk (TPMA), a shipping service company in Indonesia. Corporate Secretary of Trans Power Marine, Rudi Setiono, confirmed this news in the information disclosure, quoted today (4/10).

ABP is said to have sold 130 million of its shares for IDR 350 each in the transaction last week (30/9). Thus, its portion depletes to 416,247,620 shares from 546,247,620 units or equal to 20.74% of the company’s issued and paid-up capital.

On September 20, 2021, ABP, as one of the shareholders of TPMA, had divested 65 million shares for IDR 350 each, thus diminishing its portion to 20.74%. It dropped 2.47% from 23.21% of the entire issued and paid-up capital. The total raised funds through this transaction amounted to IDR 22.75 billion.

Prior to the transaction, TPAM’s shares were reported to reach 2,633,300,000 shares, 23.21% of which used to be claimed by ABP. PT Dwitunggal controlled another 57.74%, followed by Standard Chartered with 6.79% and public investors (below 5%) 12.26%. (LK/ZH)
