JAKARTA – PT MNC Land Lido, a subsidiary of PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG), partners with PT Infokom Elektrindo (Infokom) to establish a Techno Park in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Tourism of MNC Lido City, West Java.
Harry Tanoesoedibjo, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MNC Group, believed that Infokom’s track record in digital business infrastructure and information and communication technologies (ICT) would help Techno Park to be one of the biggest high-tech ecosystems in Indonesia. “Other developments include artificial intelligence (AI) development centre and smart city infrastructure with green technology to minimise the impact of environmental and climate change issues,” he proclaimed in a press release, quoted today (11/10).
According to Tanoesoedibjo, Infokom would be the leading investor that would manage other investors and ICT strategic partners. Furthermore, there would be core information technology infrastructure, backbone network, fibre optic network, and data centre established in the said area.
MNC Lido City is a Tourism SEZ of 1,040 Ha in Bogor, West Java. The establishment of the said area is under the legal protection of Government Regulation No. 69/2021, signed by President Widodo on June 16, 2021.
Under the said law, MNC Lido City is eligible to earn several state incentives. They include exemption of Value-Added Tax (PPN), Luxuy Goods Sales Tax (PPnBM), customs duty (PPh Badan Cukai), and import tax. (LK/ZH)
