JAKARTA – PT Integrasi Jaringan Ekosistem (IJE), a subsidiary of PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI), is planning the issuance of Medium Term Notes (MTN) to finance the fibre-optic cable network construction.
In the information disclosure quoted Wednesday (3/11), Martha Rebecca, Director of Solusi Sinergi Digital, claimed that this arrangement would be discussed further during the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting by the end of the month (24/11). “This corporate action is intended to accelerate the completion of the fibre-optic cable network construction,” she confirmed.
WIFI aims high, wishing to extend the fibre-optic cable network infrastructure along the rail track of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) (KAI). Up until now, the company had established the fibre-optic network in 144 spots spread across 2,800 km or over 500 stations in nine operational areas of KAI.
It has been known that IJE obtained credits from PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) of IDR 256.5 billion. This facility is intended to cover 63% of the total cost of the fibre-optic network project along the Java rail tracks. The interest rate for said facility reached 9.5%, effective for 90 months, including the grace period of 12 months. (LK/ZH)
