Lina M Ibrahim, Corporate Secretary of CARS, confirmed that the lawsuit against Sebastianus Harno Budi was recorded in Semarang District Court under case No. 495/Pdt.G/2021/PN Smg on October 25, 2021. “The company is currently reviewing the possible impact suffered from this case,” she explained in the information disclosure, quoted Wednesday (3/11).

In the said lawsuit, quoted from the Semarang District Court website, RAM filed a request for confiscation of certificates of 23 lots located in Bergaslor, Semarang, Central Java, under Sebastianus Harno Budi. Furthermore, RAM also asked for the rights to put the land certificates by the name of PT Ahabe Niaga Selaras (ANS) and PT Ainakea Parung Jaya (APJ) on an auction, whose proceeds would be channelled to pay the debts owed to RAM.

ANS, one of CARS’s shareholders, is also known to owe overdue debts of IDR 8.21 billion to its two creditors, Anggraeni Chandra and Erwin Setia Budi Djaja. (LK/ZH)
