JAKARTA – PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR), a tollway operating company, posted a profit of IDR 221.23 billion by the end of Q3 2021, recovering after a loss of IDR 219.65 billion reported in the same period last year. This gain resulted from the increased toll route income and the decreased loss from associates and joint ventures.

In the Financial Report of Q3 2021 published on Monday (8/11), Subakti Syukur, President Director of Jasa Marga, confirmed that the total revenue climbed to IDR 10.63 trillion from IDR 10.54 trillion. The gross profit was recorded reaching IDR 4.61 trillion, shifting from IDR 3.38 trillion, while the profit before the income tax amounted to IDR 1.13 trillion, proliferating massively from IDR 352.53 billion. These gains were made possible as the associate loss shrank to IDR 99.67 billion from IDR 483.59 billion.

More specifically, the tollway income came from the ones managed by JSMR of IDR 5.70 trillion and by other subsidiaries IDR 1.90 trillion. In the same period last year, tollways operated by JSMR generated IDR 5.08 trillion, while its subsidiaries’ tollways brought in IDR 1.17 trillion. The visible rise in JSMR’s subsidiaries income was the result of the Cikampek Highway operation, adding extra IDR 446.90 billion. (LK/ZH)
