Bukalapak obtained loans worth IDR 2 trillion

JAKARTA – PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA), the Bukalapak e-commerce managing company, secured a loan facility of IDR 2 trillion from PT Bank DBS Indonesia, signed last week, November 12, 2021.

Perdana A Saputro, Corporate Secretary of Bukalapak, claimed that this facility would be utilised as a bridging facility to expand its business. “The loan facilty would be effective for a year until November 12, 2022, coming with an annual interest rate of 4.5%,” he mentioned in the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (16/11).

According to Saputro, this loan is considered as BUKA’s strategy of diversifying funding resources other than using up its equity. The loan from Bank DBS Indonesia to Bukalapak.com was granted without any specific collateral. (LK/ZH)
