Jaya Swarsa Agung aims for IDR 86.50 billion in IPO

JAKARTA – PT Jaya Swarsa Agung Tbk (TAYS) is in the middle of its initial public offering (IPO) of 240.3 million shares of IDR 360 per share that started yesterday (30/11) and would end this Thursday (2/12). The proceeds of this IPO are projected to reach IDR 86.50 billion.

In the prospectus quoted Wednesday (1/12), 91.98% of the proceeds would be allocated to the capital expenditure, including the establishment of a biscuit manufacturing plant in Sumedang in January 2022. It also involved purchasing machinery and factory equipment. Meanwhile, another 8.02% would be saved to its working capital to acquire raw materials.

Prior to IPO, TAYS had authorised capital of IDR 114.60 billion and an issued and paid-up capital of IDR 42.93 billion. Anwar Tay controlled 65.17% of the shares, followed by Alexander Anwar and Lidya Anwar of 9.29% each, Andrew Sansi 6.97%, Susanto 6.95%, and Harno Hasjim 2.33%.

The executive underwriter and underwriter assigned by the company are PT NH Korindo Sekuritas Indonesia and PT KGI Sekuritas Indonesia. The entire public offering was guaranteed with a full commitment by these underwriters. (LK/ZH)
