JAKARTA. As the positive trend in its achievements continues, PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR) is predicted to score revenue of IDR 15.4 trillion in 2022. It is even more certain after its revenue growth of over 40% in September 2021.
John Riady, CEO of LPKR, said that the property industry has a promising prospect to attain continuous growth. It is further supported by the increased mobility within the community, the decreased COVID-19 spread, several incentives provided by the government like reduced interest rate, and the high demands from the millennials. He specified these factors in an official release.
The improvements in LPKR’s performances were indicated by the positive shifts throughout the first nine months of 2021, moving 44% year-on-year (yoy) to IDR 10.9 trillion. In addition, its EBITDA also skyrocketed 84% yoy to IDR 2.9 trillion, coinciding with the rising popularity of property and healthcare services developers.
Out of the said amount, the property segment jumped 26% yoy to IDR 3 trillion, while the health segment went up by 47% to IDR 5.9 trillion. Lastly, property leases also proliferated 72.7% to IDR 2.07 trillion. (AM/ZH)
