JAKARTA. PT Graha Layar Prima Tbk (BLTZ), the managing company of CGV theatres in Indonesia, has officially put one of its theatres in Bogor back in business on December 11, 2021, after being temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Yeo Deoksu, Director of BLTZ, said that the theatre in question is located in Vivo superblock, Sentul. “The company has laid out health protocols according to the guidelines set by the central and local governments,” he clarified in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

The visitors of CGV theatres would be required to use the PeduliLindungi application for medical screening. Additionally, they should be 12 years old or older and have been received their second dose of vaccine.

Until December 11, 2021, BLTZ has reopened 62 theatres spread across various cities. Additionally, the company has introduced one new cinema.

Yeo stated that the reopening of CGV theatres could hopefully reinvigorate local production houses. Furthermore, this decision is intended to help to recover the economic condition in the creative industry sector. (KR/ZH)
