MBSS secured a loan facility worth USD 7.5 million from Bank Permata

JAKARTA. PT Mitrabahtera Segara Sejahtera Tbk (MBSS), a shipping company focusing on transporting and distributing crude oil, has signed a revolving loan facility agreement worth USD 7.5 million from PT Bank Permata Tbk (BNLI).

Emy Oktavia, Corporate Secretary of MBSS, said that the company submitted a guarantee in the form of a fleet of ships in order to secure the said facility. The fleet in question comprises three barges and three tugboats.

“With the signing of this bank facility, the company has gained a bank loan with a competitive interest rate to cover the needs of its working capital,” Oktavia mentioned in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

On the same occasion, MBSS also obtained a foreign exchange spot (FX Spot) facility from BNLI. The said facility would be capped at USD 30 thousand.

Based on idnfinancials.com data, MBSS’s total assets amounted to USD 181.8 million as of September 30, 2021. Its revenue reportedly reached USD 53.76 million throughout January-September 2021, scoring USD 4.6 million in its net profit. (KR/ZH)
