Pyridam Farma’s plan to take over Holi Pharma is a go

JAKARTA. PT Pyridam Farma Tbk (PYFA), a pharmaceutical and medical equipment distributor, has gained approval from its shareholders to acquire the entire shares of PT Holi Pharma.

In the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) earlier today (28/12), PYFA confirmed that 57.21% of the shareholders gave a green light for the acquisition plan during a meeting last week. The shareholders also agreed regarding the arrangement of the Holi Pharma stock transfer.

Based on idnfinancials.com data, the Holi Pharma shares acquisition plan was firstly heard in August 2021. The total shares of Holi Pharma that PYFA will take over amounts to 27,835 units of IDR 1 million each. Meanwhile, the transaction related to the acquisition reaches IDR 108.56 billion in value.

For the record, Holi Pharma has engaged in drugs and health supplement production and manufacturing processes. Some of its marketed products include vitamins, supplements, external-use medicines, and others.

As of September 30, 2021, PYFA reported total assets of IDR 627.53 billion, while its cash and cash equivalents amounted to IDR 42.3 billion. (KR/ZH)
