JAKARTA - PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT) announced the completion of the merger between PT Indosat Tbk and PT Hutchison 3 Indonesia after receiving all required legal and shareholder approvals. The company is now named Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison.
Vikram Sinha, who previously served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Indosat Ooredoo, will lead Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Simultaneously, Nicky Lee has also been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison.
With the Company's greater scale, financial strength and expertise, as well as superior network ownership, talent and strategic partnerships, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison will become an important telecommunications player in driving Indonesia's digital transformation agenda. This merger has no impact on Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison's customers, who will continue to receive outstanding services and offers without interruption.
