IDX’s IPO queue is crowded as 30 companies are set to debut

JAKARTA. By far, at least 30 companies are entering the queue list of initial public offering (IPO) in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

I Gede Nyoman Yetna, Director of Company Appraisal I of IDX, specified that out of 30 companies, four companies carry assets less than IDR 50 billion while 14 others have assets between IDR 50 to 250 billion. Then, 12 remaining companies manage assets of over IDR 250 billion.

Sector-wise, four (4) companies are in the industrial sector, four (4) others are in the non-cyclical consumer goods sector, and nine (9) are in the cyclical consumer sector. Then, there are four (4) other companies in the technology sector, another one (1) in the healthcare service sector, and another two (2) in the energy sector. On top of those, there are still one (1) company in the financial sector, three (3) in the property and real estate sector, and the last two (2) in the infrastructure sector.

Meanwhile, until January 14, 2022, IDX also recorded two companies that had been listed, raising total funds of IDR 723 billion, as Yetna stated last week. (AM/ZH)
