JAKARTA – PT Provident Agro Tbk (PALM) will pay out cash dividends of IDR 304.26 billion from its earnings in 2020, scheduled for next month (8/2). The decision was made after the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting that took place last week (12/1).
Lim Na Lie, Corporate Secretary of Provident Agro, claimed that the cash dividend distribution would be supported by the 2020 net profit attributable to the parent company of IDR 1.99 trillion, unrestricted retained earnings of IDR 2.97 trillion, and total equity of IDR 3.85 trillion. “The dividend is set to IDR 43 per share. The eligible shareholders are those who have been recorded in the Shareholder List by January 24, 2022,” Lim Na Lie stated in the information disclosure on Monday (17/1).
The scheduled important dates regarding the cash dividend distribution have been announced. The cum dividend in the regular and negotiation market is set to January 20, 2022, while the cash market date will follow on January 24, 2021. Then, the ex-dividend date in the regular and negotiation market will take place on January 21, 2022, while the ex date in the cash market falls on January 25, 2022. (LK/ZH)
