JAKARTA – PT Integrasi Jaringan Ekosistem (IJE), a subsidiary of PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI), will offer bonds of IDR 600 billion with a five-year tenor and an 8.5%-9.5% interest coupon rate per year.
Hermansjah Haryono, President Director of Solusi Sinergi Digital, explains that the proceeds from the bond issuance will be used to cover the payment for credit facilities. “Additionally, it will be channelled to the capital expenditure throughout 2022 to complete IJE’s fibre-optic network development project,” he said in the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (18/1).
IJE is currently taking on the fibre optic network project spanning across PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) railway of 2,800 kilometres in Java. The total optical fibre network to be established reaches 144 cores with a capacity of 5.6 Tbps. This fibre optic is planned to be upgraded to 32 Tbps this year, following the ever-increasing bandwidth demands.
It is also mentioned that the upcoming bonds will be equal to 145.20% of WIFI’s equity reported in December 2020. (LK/ZH)
