JAKARTA. PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Protelindo), a subsidiary of PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR), acquires IDR 500 billion as a loan from Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited (BOCHK), available for 48 months.
Irfan Ghazali, Corporate Secretary of Sarana Menara Nusantara, said that PT Iforte Solusi Infotek (Iforte), another subsidiary of TOWR, guaranteed the loan received by Protelindo. These subsidiaries had signed the credit facility agreement with the Jakarta Branch of BOCHK on January 21, 2022.
According to Ghazali, the loan, guaranteed by Iforte, will allow Protelindo to obtain financing under more beneficial terms and conditions. He hopes that the facility can support Protelindo’s business, which will consecutively result in positive outcomes for the parent company.
“This facility is intended to cover general corporate needs of Protelindo,” Ghazali reaffirmed in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) yesterday (25/1). He also ensures that the credit agreement signing and the corporate guarantee scheme will not have any material impacts on operational and legal activities, financial condition, or business sustainability of the company.
