AMOR secured a profit of IDR 58.76 billion in 2021

JAKARTA – PT Ashmore Asset Management Indonesia Tbk (AMOR) scored a net profit of IDR 58.76 billion in 2021. It was 47.30% higher than the profit in the same period in 2020 of IDR 39.86 billion. This gain is possible due to the significant growth in the assets under management (AUM), which subsequently boosts the revenue.

In the Financial Report of 2021 published today (28/1), Ronaldus Gandahusada, President Director of Ashmore Asset Management Indonesia, reveals that the investment management generated IDR 307.60 billion of revenue, proliferating from IDR 135.50 billion in 2020. The investment management of affiliates contributed IDR 200.91 billion to the total revenue, while third parties brought in IDR 6.69 billion.

Its operating profit reportedly reached IDR 72.78 billion, climbing 65.72% from IDR 43.91 billion in 2020. Meanwhile, the profit before tax amounted to IDR 74.83 billion, soaring from IDR 49.68 billion.

Furthermore, AMOR’s assets under management (AUM) arrived at IDR 39.66 trillion, slightly shifting from IDR 34.94 trillion. It comprised Ashmore Dana Obligasi Unggulan Nusantara Mutual Funds of IDR 6.62 trillion and Ashmore Dana Ekuitas Nusantara of IDR 6.48 trillion. By the end of June 2021, AMOR’s AUM reportedly amounted to IDR 34.94 trillion. (LK/ZH)
