JAKARTA. PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (META), though one of its subsidiaries, PT Margautama Nusantara (MUN), will take on the construction of tollway access of Makassar New Port (MNP).
The project to be handled by MUN includes Phase I and II constructions. The project is located in Tallo District, Makassar, South Sulawesi. The groundbreaking stage was initiated back on February 7, 2022.
“The first phase will include the construction started from the old port (Section 1 Tollway) to MNP. Meanwhile, the second phase of the construction will begin from the airport (Section IV of Makassar Tollway) to MNP,” Dahlia Evawani, Corporate Secretary of META, announced in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange.
For the record, the MPN toll access project is listed as one of the National Strategic Projects. This particular one will support the operational activities of MNP, including the freight unload-and-load activities to support import and export in eastern Indonesia.
According to idnfinancials.com data, MUN is a subsidiary of META that focuses on the tollway business. MUN is currently responsible for four tollway business units, including PT Bintaro Serpong Damai. (KR/ZH)
