JAKARTA. PT Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk (PSDN) has obtained authorisation from its shareholders to proceed with its plan of selling its assets in the form of land and a chocolate manufacturing plant worth IDR 39.5 billion.

In the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting on Thursday (17/2), all shareholders present in the meeting stated agreement regarding the said plan. The proceeds of the divestment will be utilised to pay some of its debts owed to PT Bank Danamon Tbk (BDMN).

The soon-to-be-sold land and facility are initially owned by PSDN through one of its subsidiaries, PT Aneka Bumi Kencana. As previously said before, the value of this land and building divestment equals 52.92% of PSDN’s total equity.

PSDN’s debts to be repaid to BDMN are yet to be disclosed. However, until June 2021, the company’s debts that are due within a year reportedly amounted to IDR 21.25 billion. (KR/ZH)
