JAKARTA – PT Esta Multi Usaha Tbk (ESTA) will issue 1.6 billion shares and 220.5 million series I warrants of IDR 100 each. This rights issue plan will be further discussed in the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting by the end of next month, on March 30, 2022.
In the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (22/2), Suryanto Witono, Director of Esta Multi Usaha, said that the proceeds of the upcoming corporate action would be utilised to expand the business in the hotel and vehicle rental industry. “The company will gain a new source of funding to support its business expansion,” he reiterated.
ESTA’s authorised capital post rights issue will rise by IDR 631.11 billion, from IDR 168.88 billion to IDR 800 billion. Currently, its issued and paid-up capital of the company amounts to IDR 63 billion. The shareholders include PT Esta Utama Corpora (EUC) of 68.18%, PT Esta Dana Ventura (EDV) of 10.88%, Johny Sopandi 5.04%, and the public (below 5%) of 15.90%. Meanwhile, its portfolio carries IDR 105.88 billion worth of stock.
After this corporate action, ESTA’s shareholder structure will remain the same. However, its issued and paid-up capital will proliferate to IDR 223 billion, similar to the stock in its portfolio that will increase to IDR 577 billion. (LK/ZH)
