Sentul City to launch a rights issue of 100,625,500 series D shares

JAKARTA – PT Sentul City Tbk (BKSL), the developer of Bukit Sentul, plans to issue 100,625,500 series D shares of IDR 50 each via a rights issue. This corporate action plan will be decided further in the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting on April 1, 2022.

Kwee Liana Kumala, Corporate Secretary of Sentul City, claimed that the entire rights issue proceeds would be allocated to pay short-term obligations, acquire strategic land plots to extend the landbank, and fund the operational expenditure to expand the business. “The rights issue will take place at least 12 months after gaining approval during the shareholders meeting and receiving an effective statement from the Financial Services Authority (OJK),” she further revealed in the information disclosure quoted Wednesday (23/2).

Currently, the authorised capital of the company clocks up to IDR 14 trillion, equivalent to 135,204,500,000 shares, while its issued and paid-up capital amounts to IDR 7.53 trillion or 67,083,561,082 shares. They consist of Series A (IDR 2,000 each) of 357.5 million units, Series B (IDR 400 each) of 1,001 million units, Series C (IDR 100 each) of 62.58 billion units, and Series D of 3.13 billion shares. PT Sakti Generasi owns 52.68% of the shares, followed by Stella Isabella of 16.76% and the public (each below 5%) of 30.56%. (LK/ZH)
