JAKARTA. The heavy equipment sales of PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) throughout 2021 proliferated 97.44% to 3,088 units. It nearly doubled the sales recorded in 2020 of 1,564 units. This year’s sales exceeded the initial target of 3,000 units.
The monthly financial report taken out of UNTR’s official website yesterday (23/2), as quoted by Kontan, showed that the mining sector still dominated the heavy equipment sales with 53% of total sales. Then, the sales to the construction sector followed with 25%, atop of the forestry sector of 12%, and the agribusiness sector of 10%.
Month-on-month, heavy equipment sales in December 2021 faced a drastic decline. It only sold 138 units from 360 units in November 2021, depleting 61.66%. The record also noted that December 2021 sales were the lowest sales throughout 2021. (AM/ZH)
