JAKARTA. PT Wijaya Karya Bangunan Gedung Tbk (WEGE) or Wika Gedung set the target of new contracts to IDR 7.1 trillion in 2022. Several projects in Mandalika are listed as ways to attain the said goal.

Bobby Iman Setya, Corporate Secretary of Wika Gedung, confirmed that five projects in Mandalika will be the most extensive contributors to the target, collecting IDR 880.275 billion. The said projects are related to supporting facilities of the MotoGP event, including the pit building project, MotoGP clinic, and a helipad. Furthermore, there are also MMR Telkom Akses Mandalika, TV Compound Pit Building Mandalika, and the construction of the five-star Pullman Hotel in Mandalika. “Currently, most of these five projects have been completed,” he reaffirmed as quoted by Kontan this week.

WEGE also still has its eyes on several projects in Mandalika, which are expected to help secure the new contract target of IDR 7.1 trillion. The target is reportedly 157% higher than the new contract realisation in 2021 of IDR 2.76 trillion.

The revenue from the construction segment is still WEGE’s main source to acquire the goal, expecting to gain IDR 3.35 trillion or 47.22% of the objective. Next is the office segment, targeting to score IDR 2.6 trillion or 36.59% of the target. The commercial and residential business lines are projected to cover IDR 730 billion or 10.27% and IDR 420 billion or 5.91% of the target. (AM/ZH)
