Bank Jago collected third-party funds 357% higher than in 2020

JAKARTA – PT Bank Jago Tbk (ARTO) gained the third-party funds of IDR 3.67 trillion by the end of 2021, accompanied with a credit distribution of IDR 5.36 trillion in total.

Kharim Siregar, President Director of Bank Jago, confirmed that the third-party funds proliferated 357% compared to the third-party funds in 2020 of IDR 804 billion. “The current account and saving account (CASA) amounted to IDR 1.68 trillion, and the deposits reached IDR 2 trillion. The CASA skyrocketed 667% from last year, and the third-party funds swelled 242%,” he added in the press release quoted Monday (14/3).

According to Siregar, CASA covered 45.6% of the third-party funds, while deposits took up 54.4% of the third-party funds. In comparison, in 2020, CASA made up 27.2% of the third-party funds, while deposits dominated with 72.8%.

In the meantime, the credit distribution also significantly increased by 491% from the achievement in 2020 of IDR 908 billion. The said accomplishment resulted from collaborations with several financial technology (fintech) and multifinance companies and other digital financial institutions. This included the integration of Bank Jago into Gojek, the online mutual funds application Bibit, and the online trading platform Stockbit. (LK/ZH)
