JAKARTA – Jati Sejati Investment Limited (JSIL) cancelled its lawsuit regarding the suspension of debt payment obligation (lit. Penundaan Kewajiban Pembayaran Utang/PKPU) against PT Sidomulyo Selaras Tbk (SDMU) after series of trials since February 3, 2022. Jonathan Walewangko, Corporate Secretary of Sidomulto Selaras confirmed the news in the information disclosure quoted Thursday (17/3).

“Through the withdrawal of PKPU lawsuit by Jati Sejati Investment Limited as the plaintiff, our company is now acquitted from any claim regarding bankruptcy and PKPU under Law No.37/2004,” Walewangko reaffirmed.

According to Walewangko, after this lawsuit cancellation, the company can run its business openly without needing any authorisation or control from PKPU administrators placed by JSIL after it first filed the lawsuit on January 24, 2022.

The PKPU annulment took place yesterday (14/3). Prior to this decision, SDMU was present in the initial PKPU case trial requested by JSIL on February 3, 2022. Then, the second trial was on February 24, 2022, followed by the third and fourth trial, which were adjourned until JSIL terminated the lawsuit. (LK/ZH)
